About the author...
My name is Stephane Rogeau. In 1999, I graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris, always ranked among the top 3 engineering schools in France. Then I followed a master at HEC, #2 European business school according to the Finantial Times ranking.
In 2000, I created my own company, specialized in mobile Internet technologies. The company did not survive the new economy crash of 2001, but the adventure may have been my best training experience.
After that, I went on a one-year trip around the world, visiting 26 countries, and flying in several places with a motorized paraglider.
Back from my trip, I worked in the Internal Audit team of the Renault Group, acquiring a good knowledge of processes inside an international company.
I then switched to sales in the IT world: I first worked on the international development of the OEM business of a fast growing electronics company in the automotive sector. After that, I managed the French then the Brazilian sales activity of tech companies.
I obtained a Global Executive MBA (OneMBA), while developing the Business Model theory/framework presented in this website.
I am now managing director of a company developing physical access control solutions.
